Western Shiprepair completed repairs of dredger Marieke

Lithuanian company Western Shiprepair, the member of BLRT Grupp, completed repairs of dredger Marieke, owned by the Belgian company Dredging Environmental & Marine Engineering NV (DEME).

For eight weeks a large volume of work on the replacement of the bulkheads of the cargo bunker, on which about 85 tons of steel was spent, was completed on the dredger Marieke with a length of 97.5 meters. Mechanical, piping works, as well as works related to the restoration of the Register class were completed, in the result of it the technical condition of the whole vessel was considerably updated.

"This is the second ship of DEME company repaired by us. The first was the dredger Victor Horta, with repairs of which our customer was satisfied, that’s why he turns to us for the second time.
